TVS has a long history of Veterinary student education and many 100s of veterinary students from all over the world have spent time at TVS, some later employed at our practice. Every year students come to spend some time in an informal way to learn about different facets of veterinary science.
From 2010, all final year veterinary students from James Cook University will complete their training in Dairy Cattle Production at Tableland Veterinary Service. This will be a formal teaching program in two, two week rotations. The students will be given tutorials and practical training in all facets of Dairy Cattle Production.
